The following standards apply to all university renovation and new construction projects. These standards should be familiar to consultant architects, engineers, and outside contractors as well as university personnel. Standards are divided into divisions; they are a "living" set of documents that will be updated on a regular basis. If you cannot find the information you require here, please contact your project manager. These standards establish a quality baseline for all UIC facilities and any deviation must be submitted in advance to your UIC project manager for approval.
